The Terminal Manager (TM) position plays a vital role within Maytag Aircraft, responsible for on-site management of Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements. The TM must bring substantial specialized commercial or military experience in fuel terminal operations and maintenance, often equating to an Air Force Fuels Management seven skill level (2F071) or nine skill level (2F091). Responsibilities encompass receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping petroleum products via various modes such as tank truck, pipeline, rail, or tanker/barge, depending on the station’s capabilities. The role also involves maintenance and repair of bulk petroleum storage terminals, systems, and equipment. Supervisory experience, ideally recent and relevant to fuel terminal operations, including terminal maintenance, operations, and environmental compliance, is crucial. The TM directs personnel, oversees terminal functions, ensures compliance with quality and environmental standards, manages inventory, administers maintenance programs, and serves as a liaison with military and corporate management. This demanding role requires the ability to operate in fast-paced environments, balancing multiple tasks with precision and professionalism.
