Job Description
Newmark is a leading global real estate services firm dedicated to transforming the way the world thinks about real estate. With a strong presence across commercial real estate sectors, Newmark provides a full spectrum of services including leasing, capital markets, advisory, and property management. Known for its innovative approach and commitment to client success, Newmark has built a reputation for creating dynamic, tenant-focused environments that enhance property value and tenant satisfaction. Operating in key markets including Walnut Creek, San Francisco, Novato, Burbank, Bellevue, and New York, Newmark manages a diverse portfolio of commercial office properties with a focus on fostering community engagement and delivering exceptional experiences for tenants.
The Tenant Engagement Coordinator role at Newmark is designed for a creative, organized, and proactive individual who will serve as the primary point of contact for community engagement and tenant events across the firm's growing commercial office portfolio. This full-time position is based onsite in Walnut Creek, CA, and involves portfolio-wide oversight with responsibilities extending to multiple locations. The coordinator will play a critical role in creating vibrant building communities through the planning and execution of high-quality tenant engagement programs. The role demands a solution-focused mindset, a high degree of independence, and the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Responsibilities include initiating and managing a comprehensive calendar of tenant events, developing relationships with local businesses and associations, facilitating tenant communications, and managing building amenities such as conference centers and fitness centers. The coordinator will also handle tenant portal management, coordinate building access, and support various property-specific activities to enhance tenant experience.
Additionally, the Tenant Engagement Coordinator will drive engagement strategies including managing annual tenant surveys, promoting green and healthy programs, collaborating with property managers and ownership on budget management, and expanding community activities across all portfolio properties. The role requires physical mobility to navigate commercial office sites and the stamina to remain active during events. Proficiency in software tools like Canva, Constant Contact, Yardi, Monday.com, Microsoft Office, and Dropbox is essential for effective communication and coordination. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to tenant satisfaction and community building within a respected real estate firm, while supporting a dynamic and diverse portfolio.
