The role being offered is for a Custodial/Housekeeping position within the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department. This is a temporary employment opportunity designed to support the maintenance of UC Irvine's campus facilities to ensure they remain clean, safe, and welcoming to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Employees in this role are tasked with routine custodial duties including floor care such as waxing, buffing, and stripping floors, restroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning, dusting, trash removal, and window washing. The custodial worker also utilizes specialized cleaning equipment to perform advanced cleaning tasks like pressure washing and deep carpet cleaning. The position demands both independent and collaborative efforts to complete daily assignments while maintaining high standards of customer service and cleanliness.
