The Porter role at Harvard Maintenance is a vital position focused on maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of building public and operational spaces. This position ensures that all tenants, employees, and visitors experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Porter will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal, along with restocking restroom supplies and maintaining high-touch surfaces. This role requires a proactive approach to responding to special requests, spills, and tenant needs promptly and efficiently. Additionally, the Porter will assist with moving furniture, setting up meeting spaces, and supporting special events to ensure the building operates smoothly. Reporting maintenance or safety issues to management and following all safety protocols are essential duties to uphold building standards and safety. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8am to 4:30pm and offers a competitive salary of 21.25 per hour.
