Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a leading family-owned company dedicated to serving seniors with compassion and excellence. With over 60 communities nationwide, RLC focuses on creating resort-style living environments that prioritize comfort, community, and quality of life for their residents. The organization emphasizes a servant-hearted approach guided by its Core Values: Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. These values foster a close-knit community where employees, residents, and families feel valued and respected. RLC aims to achieve four essential goals that drive its success: Happy Employees, Happy Residents, Full Occupancy, and On-Budget Operations. These guiding principles ensure that RLC maintains high standards across all aspects of its operations, from employee satisfaction to resident experience and financial stewardship.
The Lead Concierge role at RLC is a vital position that serves as the welcoming face of the community. This role involves greeting residents, families, and guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring every encounter is a positive and meaningful connection. As the first point of contact, the Lead Concierge manages communications including answering phones and coordinating various resident and guest services such as valet parking, transportation, and room-service assistance. Beyond front desk duties, the Lead Concierge has a leadership role within the community team, contributing to its culture, operations, and overall resident experience. They participate actively in team meetings, collaborate on initiatives to improve services, and take on responsibilities such as training new concierges and covering for managers when necessary.
This full-time position requires a commitment to creating a seamless and high-touch experience for residents and visitors. The Lead Concierge plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the community by responding promptly to emergencies and coordinating with emergency services when needed. Additionally, responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in common areas, managing office supply inventories, supporting dining services during peak times, and assisting with event setups. The job offers a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and requires the ability to meet local regulations regarding alcohol service and food handling.
RLC offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package to its full-time employees. Benefits include access to pay anytime, a benefit stipend applicable toward health, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, disability plans, health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), and legal protections. Employees also enjoy paid time off and a 401(k) plan with employer match, fostering financial wellness and work-life balance.
Joining Resort Lifestyle Communities means becoming part of a purpose-driven organization where your work makes a daily difference in the lives of seniors. The environment is supportive and beautiful, emphasizing a family atmosphere and professional growth. If you have a servant heart and a passion for providing exceptional service, the Lead Concierge role at RLC is an ideal opportunity to build a rewarding career while positively impacting a vibrant community.
