The Temporary Housekeeper role at Resort Lifestyle Communities is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors. This role is not just about cleaning; it is about maintaining a comfortable and welcoming home for residents while building genuine connections with them, guests, and team members. The Temporary Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that residents' apartments and community spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained according to individual preferences. Their work includes routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, changing linens, emptying trash, and seasonal duties like window and patio cleaning and HVAC filter changes. Additionally, deep cleaning responsibilities for vacated apartments and preparation of model apartments and guest suites are essential parts of this role.

Working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, this position offers a stable and predictable schedule. The Temporary Housekeeper must be at least 18 years old and able to read, speak, and understand basic English. Experience in housekeeping within hospitality, commercial, or residential settings is preferred but not mandatory. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Ability to read, speak and understand basic English
  • Experience in housekeeping preferred
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and use approved cleaning products
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required for housekeeping duties
  • Reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Welcome new residents and learn their cleaning preferences
  • Adjust apartment cleaning to meet individual needs and expectations
  • Clean residents' apartments and community spaces on a regular schedule including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, changing linens, emptying trash, and seasonal tasks
  • Perform deep cleaning of apartments after residents move out and care for vacant apartments
  • Clean and prepare model apartments and guest suites by vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, washing linens, restocking supplies, and checking HVAC areas
  • Keep common areas clean, safe, and welcoming
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas organized and use approved cleaning products while following PPE safety guidelines
  • Wash, dry, and care for housekeeping linens in a timely manner
