California Armenian Home is a renowned non-profit organization dedicated to creating a one-of-a-kind, people-centered, planned community that caters to all levels of senior living. Building upon the legacy and vision of its Founders, the institution is committed to providing extraordinary lifestyle experiences complemented by compassionate care and gracious hospitality. The home fosters an inclusive culture rooted in integrity, humility, and compassion, where residents and staff alike are respected and valued as part of a family. Emphasizing warm hospitality, heartfelt care, and a strong sense of tradition, the California Armenian Home celebrates family, community, and lifelong learning, offering a wonderful place for seniors to call home.

The organization’s guiding principles are centered around putting people first, fostering teamwork and trust among employees, and committing to continuous improvement and enrichment. Its leadership goes beyond conventional business goals to focus deeply on mission-driven outcomes that enhance the resident experience and employee culture.

The Hospitality team at The Vineyards | California Armenian Home plays a vital role in delivering exceptional long-term care experiences for a diverse senior population. The team operates in a fast-paced environment offering a variety of roles spanning leadership, culinary services, lifestyle programming, and more. Whether working directly with residents or supporting behind the scenes, each member contributes to creating a memorable and welcoming atmosphere that defines the California Armenian Home experience.

The current opportunity is for a diligent and compassionate Housekeeper who will ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of resident rooms, communal areas, offices, dining spaces, restrooms, and other facilities. The role involves daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, as well as deep cleaning duties according to scheduled plans and resident discharges. Safety is paramount, and the housekeeper must handle chemicals and cleaning agents in compliance with state and federal regulations.

This position requires individuals who can thrive in a busy, dynamic environment while maintaining patience and excellent customer service when interacting with residents, family members, and visitors. Effective communication skills are essential as the housekeeper coordinates efforts with various departments to uphold the high standards of cleanliness necessary for a senior living community.

Education-wise, a high school diploma is preferred, though not mandatory, and previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not required. The role does not require any specific licenses or certifications. Employees will participate in in-service education and staff meetings to stay informed about best practices and organizational updates.

The California Armenian Home provides a comprehensive benefits package to support its employees' health, financial security, and work-life balance. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, retirement saving plans with 401k eligibility after three months, employee appreciation events, and wellness programs. Additionally, employees enjoy lunch twice per week, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, direct deposit options, and the security of a 24/7 monitored guard house. This supportive and secure work environment reflects the organization's commitment to its workforce, ensuring they too feel valued and part of the community.

If you have the passion and qualifications to contribute to a rewarding and meaningful role within a respected senior living community, the California Armenian Home welcomes your application. Please submit your resume to take the next step in joining this compassionate and dedicated team.
