The company's ethos centers around fostering an atmosphere of family and community among team members, residents, and their families. At Oakmont, meaningful and caring relationships are fundamental to enriching the lives of seniors and ensuring a rewarding living experience.
Oakmont prides itself on selecting team members who not only possess excellent skills and experience but also demonstrate a genuine passion for working with elderly populations. The work environment promotes a joyful atmosphere where laughter is encouraged alongside a commitment to high standards of excellence. Employees can sense the pride of ownership and dedication to service as they step into any Oakmont community. This exemplary focus on service and resident engagement has earned Oakmont a respected reputation within the senior living industry.
The temporary Executive Chef position is an exciting opportunity within this esteemed organization. This role is pivotal in maintaining Oakmont's dedication to fresh and exceptional cuisine by leading a "Full Scratch Kitchen" operation. The assignment is expected to last up to four months, with possible adjustments based on business requirements. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, which typically includes Tuesday through Saturday shifts, but may also require evenings, weekends, holidays, and additional coverage as demanded by the business.
The Executive Chef will be the creative force driving culinary innovation, setting industry standards through the use of seasonal menus, state-of-the-art kitchens, and top-quality local ingredients. The successful candidate will be an ambitious and driven innovator who sets rather than follows standards, focused on crafting exceptional dining experiences aligned with current food trends and customer preferences. This role offers the opportunity to work in highly advanced 'Chef Playgrounds' equipped with the latest culinary tools and technologies. It is a collaborative position that values forward-thinking, adaptability, strong leadership, and a passion for hospitality.
The pay range for this salaried exempt position is between $72,100 and $85,000, reflecting the importance of the role within Oakmont's dynamic culinary team. The chef will be rewarded not just for hard work but for results, performance, and the ability to foster strong relationships with staff, guests, and residents alike. The role demands expertise in menu development with a focus on seasonal curation and guest satisfaction, managing costs related to food, labor, and products, and leading kitchen operations to deliver flawless dishes promptly.
Candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment where leveraging next-generation technology is encouraged, and leadership is integral to creating contemporary and flexible workspaces. Oakmont emphasizes the importance of health and safety, requiring candidates to pass criminal background checks and health screenings, including physical and TB tests. Compliance with COVID-19-related health measures may also be required to protect team members and residents.
This temporary position offers a unique chance to contribute to a company that values excellence, innovation, and a heartfelt commitment to senior care and hospitality. Join Oakmont Management Group and be part of a team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors through exceptional culinary experiences and community-centered living.
