Job Requirements
- Weekend and holiday availability is required
- Flexibility with work schedule including nights
- Ability to work over 40 hours per week when needed
- Physical ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to operate a golf cart
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform or business attire and nametag
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within a resort or hotel setting is preferred
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in resort, hospitality, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s service culture and 4 Keys to creating guests for life
- Align with Peregrine Hospitality TBO Strategy and focus on recruiting and retaining top talent
- Participate in all resort required meetings and trainings
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform or business attire and nametag
- Respond to meeting planners' requests immediately
- Interact with outside planners and vendors for event set-up
- Maintain pricing integrity and propose upscale menus for clients
- Manage the system or function book to ensure maximum revenue potential
- Be visible on the floor and assist staff during functions
- Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner
- Keep immediate manager informed of issues requiring attention
- Prepare and submit required reports timely
- Know meeting room setups and capabilities
- Know sleeping room configurations and types
- Have comprehensive knowledge of all resort operational departments
- Use meeting planner feedback to improve service and quality
- Maintain compliance with resort policies and safety rules
- Perform other duties as requested by management
