Job Description

NJ/NY Gotham FC ("Gotham FC" or "the Club") is a premier National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) team proudly representing the vibrant and diverse regions of New Jersey and New York. The team plays its home matches at the iconic Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to showcasing top-level women's soccer. Gotham FC embodies more than just competitive sports; it stands as a beacon of innovation, creativity, and progressive values within the sports community. The Club strives to challenge the traditional norms and push the limits in the world of soccer and beyond, setting trends and promoting bold ideas that resonate with fans and communities alike. Rooted deeply in the history and passion of the beautiful game, Gotham FC continuously works to redefine expectations and break new ground, building a legacy unlike any other in women's sports.

The Temp Community & Social Impact Program Coordinator plays a vital role within Gotham FC by supporting the Community & Social Impact team in executing the Club’s dynamic community and social responsibility programs, game days, and special events. This is a temporary, part-time position with an approximate commitment of up to 29 hours per week, spanning a 3-month assignment. The role is designed for a motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and is passionate about creating meaningful impacts in the NJ/NY community through sports and outreach initiatives.

This role requires a hands-on approach to coordinating program logistics, managing communications, and ensuring seamless operations during game day activations and other Club events.

Your responsibilities will include hosting guests, coordinating various activation components during pre-game, in-game, and post-game periods, and assisting in general administrative functions such as organizing program materials and maintaining community webpages. The role demands excellent organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences.

The position is based primarily out of Gotham FC's business office in Jersey City, New Jersey, with required in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Regular attendance at home games and core events is mandatory, and some travel within the region may be necessary. Gotham FC values diversity, professionalism, and a passion for women's sports and community upliftment in its team members. The role offers a competitive compensation range of $50,000 to $60,000 annually, aligned with the temporary and part-time nature of the assignment.
