Job Requirements
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand walk bend reach and carry items during shifts
- Ability to lift or move 10 to 25 pounds as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Must complete liquor liability training within 30 days
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in bartending or similar hospitality role preferred
Job Qualifications
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- High work ethic and self-initiative
- Ability to work in high pressure and fast paced situations
- Enjoy working as part of a team that provides great experiences for guests
- Familiarity with MICROS or similar cash handling systems
- Knowledge of liquor laws and safety standards
Job Duties
- Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
- Must be completely familiar with all kinds of liquor recipes prices and proper glassware and garnishes
- Know drink recipes prices and types of beverages available
- Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including discounting MICROS system bank procedures and tip policies
- Charge guests accurately for drinks and handle intake of all monies
- Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations
- Resolve guest complaints ensuring satisfaction
- Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
