Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior bartending or relevant hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to work in high pressure and fast paced situations
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Able to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must complete formal liquor liability training within 30 days of employment
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 10-25 pounds as needed

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
  • Be completely familiar with all kinds of liquor, recipes, and drink prices, proper glassware, and garnishes needed
  • Know drink recipes, prices, and types of beverages available
  • Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including proper discounting, MICROS system or registers, bank procedures, and tip policies
  • Accurately charge guests for drinks and responsible for intake of all monies
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly maintaining positive guest relations
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
