Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- At least six months prior experience in the retail industry
- At least six months of cash handling experience
- Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in typing, personal computer usage, and 10-key calculator
- Ability to handle large quantities of currency
- Good problem-solving skills and sound decision making
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Mental concentration to handle frequent interruptions and fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand for most of the workday
- Ability to lift, carry, or move heavy boxes or bags of currency and coin weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours Monday through Saturday
- Must be physically present in the bank
- Commitment to comply with federal and state regulations and all bank policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Operate and maintain a cash drawer including posting deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Maintain accurate details of each transaction
- Prepare daily general ledger entries
- Perform vault functions as necessary
- Assist with daily balancing of coin machine
- Assist customers and potential customers with account or product inquiries
- Balance teller drawer and verify accuracy of posted transactions
- Promote the bank's products and services and consistently cross-sell bank products
- Make a concentrated effort to solve customer problems
- Promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts, customers, and potential customers
