This full-time position, reporting directly to the Branch Manager, offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $20.00. Operating under a non-exempt status, the role does not include supervisory responsibilities but instead focuses on delivering accuracy, professionalism, and efficiency in daily banking operations. As a Teller, you will be responsible for performing a variety of financial transactions with precision, including deposits, check cashing, and withdrawals, while maintaining a high level of security and compliance to protect client privacy.
Beyond transaction processing, the role requires a keen focus on customer service by educating clients about the bank’s diverse products and services, promoting financial wellness, and cultivating long-term client relationships. Key duties also involve processing payments such as credit card payments and loan payments, handling the secure management of assets like night deposit bags and safe deposit boxes, responding to client inquiries efficiently, and maintaining accurate records through end-of-day reconciliation procedures. The Teller role is dynamic and requires adaptability along with strong organizational and multitasking skills to thrive in a close-knit team environment.

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently process deposits, check cashing, and withdrawals
- cross-sell and educate clients on the bank’s financial products and services
- handle credit card payments, issue money orders and bank checks, accept loan payments
- manage night deposit bags and admit clients to safe deposit boxes maintaining security and confidentiality
- respond promptly to customer inquiries, provide account balances, assist with general banking needs
- perform end-of-day balancing of transactions, verify cash totals, reconcile ATMs
- maintain detailed reports and logs for compliance and accurate record keeping
