Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have basic math skills and 10-key proficiency
- Must have cash handling experience in a business environment
- Must be able to maintain a positive, friendly and professional attitude and appearance
- Must be flexible to work an alternative location within the region or market
- Ability to lift coin bags up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow bank policies and procedures
- Ability to complete required compliance training including BSA/AML
Job Qualifications
- Equivalent to four years high school or GED with emphasis on office or shop skills
- 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers, including money
- Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out simple multi-step instructions and deal with standardized situations
Job Duties
- Receives, pays out cash, and handles negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals and transfers
- Sets up, closes and balances teller station
- Records sales of monetary instruments
- Assists customers with inquiries in person or by telephone
- Maintains neat and well stocked teller area
- Cross sells bank products and services
- Follows limits established for protection of customer accounts and bank safety and soundness
