With decades of experience in the industry, the bank offers a supportive work environment where employees can grow professionally and contribute meaningfully to the financial well-being of its customers. The bank operates with a strong culture of compliance, ensuring adherence to all federal and state laws and regulations, while fostering a collaborative and respectful workplace for its team members.
The Teller position at First Northern Bank is a full-time role offering competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00. This role demands strong attention to detail and a commitment to operational integrity while mitigating risks to the bank and its customers. You will be entrusted with sensitive financial transactions, so adherence to compliance standards such as the Community Reinvestment Act, OFAC, Bank Secrecy Act, and Anti-Money Laundering policies is crucial. The position requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage difficult customer situations with empathy and patience. In addition, collaborating effectively with your team members and adapting to changing job requirements will be essential for success.
First Northern Bank encourages team members to embody the core values of putting people first, maintaining absolute integrity, and continually striving for excellence. The bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including generous time off, bonus opportunities, profit-sharing, a discounted stock purchase program, and ample growth and development opportunities for career advancement. Prospective candidates should be eager to learn, show initiative, and willing to engage fully in a dynamic banking environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
