Operating in more than 50 countries, the company is committed to innovation and providing mission-ready capabilities that empower government agencies to better serve and protect U.S. citizens.
GDIT is currently seeking a Telecommunications Analyst to join their team, providing vital telecommunications and unified communication services primarily for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This role involves maintaining, analyzing, and optimizing telecommunications and video systems, ensuring they meet the operational standards required by federal civilian agencies. The Telecommunications Analyst will work onsite at the FAA’s ZOA ARTCC location, playing an essential role in enhancing communication infrastructure that supports the safety and efficiency of air traffic operations.
As a Telecommunications Analyst with GDIT, you will be responsible for continuous monitoring and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment, conducting detailed usage studies, and implementing improvements to ensure systems operate with maximum reliability. The position demands hands-on involvement in installing, moving, and configuring telecommunications hardware, including AVAYA and ZOOM platforms. Additionally, you will facilitate end-user training to enable effective use of voice and video services, positively impacting both operational workflow and inter-agency collaboration.
This role offers a full-time opportunity on the client site, with an attractive salary range of $81,349 to $97,750, subject to experience and location. GDIT values professional growth, providing access to paid education, industry certifications, and access to modern technology to stay ahead in the telecommunications field. You will also benefit from comprehensive health and wellness packages, retirement options including a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid time off policies. Working with GDIT means joining a vibrant team dedicated to supporting essential government functions and contributing directly to the well-being of U.S. citizens.
Ideal candidates for this role will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of IP-based telephony and PBX platforms. Given the sensitive nature of the work, security clearances such as Public Trust and SECRET are mandatory. An emphasis on after-hours support highlights the need for flexibility and commitment to maintaining uninterrupted communication services. Overall, the Telecommunications Analyst position at GDIT is a unique opportunity to influence government communication systems meaningfully while advancing your career in a fast-growing, innovation-driven environment.
