Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • customer service experience
  • basic computer proficiency
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • availability for 1-2 week training period
  • willingness to travel between locations
  • strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience with customer service
  • familiarity with telehealth or healthcare settings preferred
  • basic computer skills including data entry and troubleshooting
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • flexibility to work various shifts and travel between locations

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service to patients in a timely and professional manner
  • receptionist/front desk duties including, but not limited to: filing, copying, faxing, answering and/or forwarding phone calls, as well as taking messages
  • assist physicians and counselors with telepsychiatry setup and related clerical and administrative duties
  • screen new patients to collect demographic and pertinent medical information and input into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) before patient is seen by provider
  • perform basic troubleshooting on telehealth equipment (i.e. computer, microphone, television) as needed
  • schedule new appointments, diagnostic tests, follow-up visits, and initiate reminders as necessary
  • complete prior authorizations, insurance verification, and collect co-pays
  • collect and post data for billing
