The school serves a diverse population of students and is proud to maintain a close-knit community where teachers, staff, students, and families work collaboratively to ensure a supportive and enriching learning experience.
St. Luke's School is currently seeking a full-time Technology and Social Media/Marketing Coordinator. This role is integral to the daily operations and communication strategy of the school. The successful candidate will be a collaborative member of the office team, possessing solid computer skills and a welcoming demeanor. This position is hourly and reports directly to the principal, who works in conjunction with the pastor to hire the ideal candidate. The role involves being trained by the current Technology Coordinator, which ensures a smooth transition and effective knowledge sharing.
The Technology and Social Media/Marketing Coordinator will manage basic daily technology operations, including maintaining and ordering devices, troubleshooting issues, and supporting staff and students with technology needs. Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with the Student Information System (FACTS Management) is preferred, as is data entry experience. Another crucial aspect of the role is managing the school’s social media platforms, updating the website and monthly calendar, and handling communications such as e-blasts to families, classes, and staff.
This position requires a candidate who can multitask effectively, balancing technology management with social media updating and marketing tasks. Being a positive and helpful presence in the school office is key, as the coordinator will engage with staff, students, and parents regularly. In addition to technology and social media responsibilities, the coordinator will support the principal in various administrative tasks, helping to maintain positive relationships throughout the school community.
Overall, this role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a respected Catholic educational institution and contribute to its mission through technology integration and effective communication. The position encourages professional growth through training by experienced staff and the principal, making it ideal for candidates who are organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about working in a school environment. St. Luke’s School values individuals who demonstrate empathy, positivity, and teamwork, aligning with the school’s ethos of fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
