Job Description

Flagstone Foods is a leading manufacturer and distributor of wholesome and flavorful snack products headquartered in the vibrant North Loop of Minneapolis. With manufacturing plants strategically located in Robersonville, North Carolina, El Paso, Texas, and Dothan, Alabama, Flagstone Foods has established itself as one of North America’s largest producers of "feel good snacks," including a wide array of snack nuts, innovative trail mixes, and dried fruits. The company is driven by a philosophy that appreciation fosters goodness, not only towards its customers and the broader communities in which it operates but also within its workplace culture. Appreciation is more than just a value at Flagstone Foods; it is considered the main ingredient contributing to the company’s success and its positive impact on the industry. This approach cultivates a supportive and energized work environment where creative, thoughtful, and entrepreneurial team members thrive. Flagstone Foods seeks dedicated employees who share this enthusiasm and commitment to producing high-quality snacks that bring joy and nourishment to consumers across the continent.

The role available at Flagstone Foods is designed to ensure efficient production aligned with all company policies, quality standards, safety protocols, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Safety and compliance are critical aspects of the role, with the incumbent expected to diligently follow all safety rules, procedures, and company regulations. The role supports continuity between shifts by maintaining accurate documentation of cleaning efforts and promptly filing work orders for repairs related to equipment, buildings, or common areas. Specialized cleaning duties include sanitizing after adverse water events like roof or drain leaks and cleaning related to bloodborne pathogens, emphasizing the importance of hygiene and operational safety. The work schedule is a weekend shift covering Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Monday afternoons/evenings, reflecting the nature of production demands in a manufacturing environment.

This role requires proactive teamwork and a commitment to contributing positively to the overall operational goals of Flagstone Foods. The company values employees who are able to work independently with minimal supervision while also being effective team players. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, but rewarding for those who value a role that combines responsibility, safety, and tangible contributions to a company committed to its people and products. Joining Flagstone Foods means becoming part of a community that respects and practices appreciation for quality, safety, and employee well-being, aiming to deliver snacks that customers love while nurturing a supportive workplace culture.
