Job Description
Quality Automotive Services, a Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) franchisee located at 4427 Opalite Dr, Loveland, CO 80537, is a dynamic automotive service provider dedicated to delivering fast, reliable, and high-quality oil change and preventive maintenance services. As part of the Valvoline brand, which is widely recognized for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Quality Automotive Services carries forward the legacy of excellence in automotive care. Operating in a fast-paced environment, this franchise caters to a diverse customer base, providing essential vehicle maintenance services primarily through a convenient stay-in-your-car service model. The company values growth and development, offering opportunities for employees to advance their careers within the automotive maintenance industry.
This role is designed for individuals eager to start a career in automotive maintenance without any prior professional experience. The Entry-Level Lube Technician position is perfect for candidates with a positive attitude, a strong willingness to learn, and a commitment to customer service. The company provides comprehensive hands-on training, ensuring that new hires gain the skills necessary to perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks effectively and safely. This position emphasizes a customer-focused approach, where technicians greet guests warmly, explain service needs clearly, and build trust by recommending only essential maintenance services. Employees work in a team-oriented, efficient, and safety-conscious environment, maintaining a clean and organized shop.
As an Entry-Level Lube Technician, you will learn to conduct Valvoline’s signature 18-point inspection, perform full-service oil changes, check and maintain vehicle fluid levels, handle tire care including rotations and pressure adjustments, and replace essential components such as batteries and filters. The role requires physical activity, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varied positions within a non-climate-controlled shop environment with exposure to fumes and noise. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet the needs of the business and its customers.
Quality Automotive Services is committed to employee well-being and professional growth, offering paid training, performance-based bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. The benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance and AD&D coverage; short-term disability; accident plans; 401(k) savings plan; employee assistance programs; payroll options such as DailyPay and Visa Vault Payroll Card; and employee discounts. This commitment reflects the company’s recognition of its team as integral to its ongoing success.
Valvoline is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applicants of diverse backgrounds. They uphold fair employment practices without discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, veteran status, or disability.
Joining Quality Automotive Services as an Entry-Level Lube Technician offers a unique opportunity to launch your automotive career with strong foundational training, a supportive team environment, and clear pathways for future advancement. Whether you are passionate about beginning a fresh career in automotive service or seeking a role where you can develop new technical and customer service skills, this position provides the resources and environment to succeed. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy engaging positively with customers while learning valuable automotive skills, this entry-level role sets the stage for long-term professional growth and satisfaction.
