Job Description
Quality Automotive Services, a Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) franchisee, operates at 4466 Venetucci Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906, providing convenient and reliable automotive maintenance services to the local community. As a respected franchise under the Valvoline Instant Oil Change brand, the company is renowned for quick, professional vehicle servicing in a customer-focused environment. This establishment is dedicated to ensuring vehicle safety and performance through routine maintenance, specializing in fast oil changes and comprehensive 18-point preventative checks. Employees benefit from a fast-paced work environment that offers substantial opportunities for career advancement and skill development within the automotive industry.
We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Lube Technician who has no prior professional automotive experience but is eager to start a career in automotive maintenance. This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and motivated to learn. Comprehensive hands-on training is provided, ensuring new hires gain essential knowledge about vehicle maintenance and safety protocols. The technician will work in a stay-in-your-car service environment, delivering friendly, efficient service while learning about vehicle fluid levels, filter changes, tire care, and other critical maintenance tasks.
The Entry-Level Lube Technician will be responsible for greeting guests, communicating maintenance needs clearly without technical jargon, and fostering customer trust by recommending necessary services only. Team collaboration and efficiency are highly valued to respect customers' time and provide high-quality service. Technically, the technician will be trained to perform the signature 18-point vehicle checks, oil changes, fluid inspections and exchanges, tire pressure adjustments, tire rotations, and replacement of basic vehicle components such as batteries, bulbs, filters, and windshield wiper blades. Maintaining safety and cleanliness in the shop is emphasized to create a safe working environment.
This job requires physical stamina, as it involves standing for long periods, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and working in various positions, including crouching and bending. The role also requires adaptability to a non-climate-controlled workspace where exposure to fumes and noise may occur. Flexibility in scheduling is essential due to the varying nature of the business hours.
Working with Quality Automotive Services offers numerous benefits, including paid hands-on training that equips employees with valuable industry skills. The company prioritizes career growth by providing clear advancement pathways alongside performance-based bonuses that reward dedication and success. Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance options, disability coverage, accident plans, a 401(k) savings plan, employee assistance programs, payroll card options, and employee discounts.
Quality Automotive Services is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring all qualified applicants receive equal consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, veteran status, or disability. Joining our team means becoming part of a supportive, professional environment where continuous learning and career development are prioritized.
