This role involves crafting a wide range of technical marketing materials such as Continuing Education Unit (CEU) courses, case studies, white papers, articles, newsletters, videos, and podcasts. The individual in this role also handles collateral development and manages material inventories including catalogs, sell sheets, data sheets, reference guides, and submittals.

In addition to content creation, the Technical Marketing Specialist oversees trade show activities from planning through execution and follow-up, including lead capture and post-event assessment. They are responsible for producing and managing all display materials required for effective product showcasing at trade exhibitions. Co-marketing with OEM partners, website updates, email marketing strategies, and support for online specification tools are other key responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in technical or product marketing preferably in construction or fasteners industry
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to develop diverse content types including CEU courses, white papers, and multimedia
  • Proficiency in marketing software and digital platforms
  • Experience with trade show planning and execution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel 15 to 20 percent annually
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the building envelope and mass timber sectors is a plus

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Development of technical marketing content focused on building envelope including CEU courses, white papers, articles, case studies, newsletters, videos, and podcasts
  • Collateral materials development and inventory management for TRUFAST Walls and Mass Timber including catalogs, reference guides, sell sheets, data sheets, and submittals
  • Manage trade shows including planning, execution, attendance, lead capture, and post-show activities
  • Development, production, and management of display materials such as product displays, product boards, banner stands, table throws, backdrops, and samples
  • Develop and manage updates to OEM partner marketing materials
  • Develop and execute marketing activities related to new product launches for TRUFAST Walls and Mass Timber
  • Website updates and enhancements for TRUFAST Walls and Mass Timber
  • Work with Digital Marketing Specialist to maintain customer databases, develop annual email marketing calendar, gain approvals and timely distribution
  • Support online specification tools updates and maintenance
  • Support implementation and maintenance of image/digital assets and product information on PIM/DAM systems
  • Support TRUFAST Marketing Manager with integrated marketing campaigns including advertising, social media, and PR
  • Support TRUFAST OEM label development and updates
  • Support sales and product management teams with necessary marketing tools
  • Manage and support execution of additional marketing programs and initiatives as needed
