The position of Technical Instructor for the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program at Washburn Tech is a full-time, 10-month role beginning as early as July 1, 2026. This role comes with a salary range of $70,000 to $71,753 per year and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The Technical Instructor will work primarily Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with additional clinical hours that may include weekends. The instructor will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and clinical education to nursing students, maintaining educational materials and equipment, and actively participating in curriculum development and program evaluation. This position is partially funded through a grant, highlighting its strategic importance to the university's nursing education efforts.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence and fostering an inclusive learning environment that engages diverse learners. Responsibilities include directing and evaluating student performance in classroom, clinical, and laboratory settings; maintaining accurate student records; administering assessments; providing feedback and grading; and supporting student recruitment, retention, and advising efforts.
