Job Description
Quality Counts (QC) is a leader in traffic data collection and analysis within the Midwest region. Known for its commitment to improving local transportation infrastructure, QC partners with governmental and private entities to provide high-quality traffic data solutions that aid engineers, city planners, and community decision-makers. Established as a trusted source for traffic data, QC utilizes advanced technology including state-of-the-art traffic cameras and data processing systems to ensure accurate and actionable information. The company embraces innovation while maintaining a strong dedication to serving its local communities by supporting better traffic flow and safer roadways.
As part of its continued growth and community commitment, Quality Counts is seeking a part-time Operations Administrative Assistant highly skilled in technical processes and eager to contribute to transportation projects. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong technical aptitude who appreciate flexible working hours and take pride in making a tangible impact on their local community. The Operations Administrative Assistant will work closely with both internal teams and external partners, assisting in various transportation-related tasks such as data uploading, equipment troubleshooting, and community traffic surveys.
This part-time position offers an hourly wage of $22, specifically designed for individuals who want to balance work with other responsibilities or commitments. The role requires working Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and occasionally weekends, with hours averaging 10-30 per week depending on the season's intensity. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site to perform duties involving direct access to QC's operational resources, emphasizing the importance of a reliable commuting arrangement. In addition to competitive pay, the position comes with several benefits such as volunteer time off, part-time sick pay, hands-on training, and a 401K employer contribution after one year of employment.
The Operations Administrative Assistant will not only play a crucial role in supporting QC’s transportation projects but also see their efforts contribute directly to community improvements. By uploading video data from traffic cameras, troubleshooting technical issues, proofreading project documents, and assisting with field surveys, this individual will help ensure QC continues to provide accurate and timely information that engineers and planners rely on to enhance local infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently yet collaboratively, values attention to detail, and wants to be part of a dynamic team that makes a real-world difference each day.
