Job Requirements

  • Two or more years experience in customer service preferred
  • Strong knowledge of technology and software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree preferably in technology-related or business-related field
  • Two or more years of experience in customer service
  • Previous experience supporting older adults with technology preferred
  • Strong understanding and comfort with the use of technology
  • Proficiency with personal devices, operating systems, and software applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to convey technical information simply
  • Patience and empathy with residents of varying tech proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours based on resident needs and events

Job Duties

  • Provide one-on-one technology support to residents including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and smart TVs
  • Assist residents with setting up and troubleshooting email accounts, video calls, and social media
  • Develop and conduct small group training sessions on various technology topics
  • Create user-friendly guides and documentation for residents
  • Collaborate with IT to maintain up-to-date software and security on devices
  • Partner with departments to integrate technology into community amenities
  • Organize and facilitate tech-related events and workshops within the community
