The role of Team/Crew Member is foundational to the restaurant's operational success. The Team/Crew Member’s responsibilities include strict adherence to company policies and operational standards. A significant aspect of the role involves regular cleaning and sanitation duties to ensure food safety and a hygienic environment. This includes tasks such as trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease. Maintaining cleanliness and safety is crucial in a restaurant setting and directly impacts customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
The position is physically demanding and requires continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting, often within a fast-paced and temperature-variable environment. Employees will encounter frequent exposure to heat and hot liquid shortening while cooking, exposure to cold conditions when stocking items in the freezer, and occasional exposure to extreme temperatures due to weather conditions. Physical stamina and resilience are essential qualities for success in this role.
In addition to core duties, team members are expected to report any customer or employee complaints and issues to the Manager on Duty promptly. The role may also require moving and stocking food products weighing up to 50 pounds, highlighting the physical nature of the job. Flexibility and a willingness to perform various job-related duties as assigned or required are vital to meet the diverse needs of the restaurant environment effectively.

Job Duties
- Perform station duties including fountain and frozen beverages, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food preparation, and drive-thru as assigned to meet operational standards
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease pursuant to operational standards
- Maintain regular attendance
- Report customer or employee complaints and issues to Manager on Duty
- Move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds
