The role of Team/Crew Member is an essential position responsible for performing basic operational duties that contribute to providing quality products and service to our guests. Reporting to the Manager on Duty, the Team/Crew Member position is nonexempt and requires a hands-on approach to support the restaurant's operational standards. This role involves working across various stations such as fountain and frozen, dresser, front and back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru (when applicable). The position emphasizes adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and assisting with food preparation tasks.
Team/Crew Members are required to perform regular cleaning duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease. This ensures a safe and hygienic environment for both employees and customers. Additionally, this role demands flexibility in working hours, including irregular shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
Successful candidates must possess a general understanding of restaurant or retail environments, basic mathematical and literacy skills, and are expected to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Job Duties
- Perform station duties including fountain and frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru as assigned to meet operational standards
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease
- Maintain regular attendance
- Report customer or employee complaints or issues to Manager on Duty (MOD)
- Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required
