The core function of the role is to perform, lead, and supervise various station duties to uphold operational standards and deliver quality products and services to guests. The Team/Crew Leader must be capable of managing several operational responsibilities, including food preparation, service stations like the fountain, grill, and drive-thru (if applicable), and ensuring that sanitation and cleanliness protocols are rigorously followed.

The role involves active participation in new employee orientation and training, emphasizing leadership in both task execution and team development. Attention to detail and adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards are vital. The Team/Crew Leader also plays a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by encouraging regular cleaning routines, proper waste disposal, and equipment maintenance to uphold health and safety regulations.

Job Duties

  • Perform, lead, and supervise station duties such as fountain & frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru if applicable
  • Assist with new employee orientation and training
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Perform, lead, and supervise regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease
  • Maintain regular attendance
  • Lead shift meetings
  • Report customer or employee complaints/issues to manager on duty
  • Move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required
