With a reputation for professionalism, safety, and excellent customer service, Penske Logistics is committed to providing a supportive work environment and fostering career growth for its employees. The company is headquartered in the United States and operates numerous locations nationwide, including its facility at 5303 Havana St, Denver, Colorado. As a part of its dedication to employee well-being, Penske Logistics offers an excellent benefits package that includes health care coverage, retirement plans, paid vacation, and various incentive programs.
The current opportunity is for full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers based in Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado, with dedicated routes to Santa Fe and Albuquerque in New Mexico. These positions offer an average annual pay of $120,700 per team driver, which includes an $80 per diem during layovers per driver. One of the key advantages of this role is that drivers are home daily, working an average of 50 to 55 hours per week on a five-day Monday through Friday schedule. Dispatch times are scheduled at 9:30 pm, providing a consistent routine for drivers. This role involves performing multi-stop deliveries of automotive parts and supplies to dealerships, requiring drivers to unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages. Drivers will use scanners to track products as they are unloaded and delivered, typically completing around 14 stops per week as a team.
Penske provides late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specifications for comfort and safety. These vehicles feature inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for all. This is a safety-sensitive position regulated by the Department of Transportation. Penske values safety and responsibility, requiring drivers to maintain a high level of alertness and comply with all safety standards. Additionally, Penske offers comprehensive benefits such as paid vacation and holidays from day one, generous retirement plans, excellent health care including medical, dental, and vision, short and long-term disability coverage, life and AD&D insurance, company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, employee discounts, a driver referral bonus program up to $5,000, a safety incentive program, and a premier driver recognition program.
Drivers joining Penske Logistics become part of a professional team committed to delivering products safely and on time. The role is designed for those who enjoy a structured schedule with the stability of working for a nationwide company known for high-quality equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. Penske pays weekly, ensuring drivers receive timely compensation. The company also provides ongoing training opportunities and the possibility to relocate to different cities, supporting career advancement in the transportation industry. Overall, this opportunity is ideal for experienced truck drivers who value home daily schedules, competitive pay, job security, and comprehensive benefits provided by a reputable logistics company.
