The position offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience. \n\nAs a front-line team member, you will be responsible for greeting and engaging with members and prospective members, providing membership information, and facilitating tours. Beyond hospitality, you'll ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and inviting by completing daily cleaning tasks. Your responsibilities also include membership sign-ups, handling phone inquiries, processing point-of-sale transactions, and addressing member concerns with professionalism and care. If applicable, you may also be involved in preparing and serving smoothies, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Training and development are actively supported through the Learning Management System, where team members regularly complete updates and training materials to enhance skills and knowledge. Job Requirements

  • Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
  • Ability to walk and climb stairs during gym tours
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and perform repetitive arm movements
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Proficient in computer operations
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs

Job Qualifications

  • CPR, First Aid, AED training, and food handler certification (if applicable)
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in person and over the phone
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
  • Previous customer service experience (preferred)
  • High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Welcome, greet, and interact with all members, prospective members, and guests
  • Provide membership information and facilitate tours
  • Complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
  • Membership sign-ups, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and addressing member concerns
  • Assist with billing issues and disputes and escalate to leadership when needed
  • Regularly review and complete all training materials and updates in the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Maintain knowledge and assist members with all amenities, membership offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions
  • Make and serve smoothies, if applicable, ensuring they meet customer specifications and maintaining quality standards
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings
