The role on offer is a frontline position responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience by consistently delivering excellent service, preparing great tasting and quality food, and maintaining a clean restaurant environment. This position involves performing duties assigned to one or more workstations according to established Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and the brand's 20/20 guest experience standards. Employees in this role will operate in a fast-paced, high-volume setting, interacting directly with customers either through order taking, cooking, or maintaining the dining area. The job requires multitasking abilities and teamwork to meet the restaurants' operational goals. The position is suitable for individuals starting their careers in the food industry, with a preference for team players capable of adapting to a busy environment while upholding safety and cleanliness standards. While prior guest service or food preparation experience is helpful, the company provides on-the-job training to support new team members. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Ability to stand and walk approximately 90-95 percent of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
  • Ability to listen to guest orders and operate a cash register
  • Ability to read video monitors
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Guest service or food cook/preparation experience helpful
  • Comfort working in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English, additional language skills based on location helpful
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Teamwork and communication skills
