Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 16 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
- Ability to move freely throughout the store including refrigerated areas
- Ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
- Compliance with all health and sanitation laws and regulations
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
- Availability and willingness to work shifts
- Ability to work with agility
- Willingness to work occasional long hours per applicable laws
Job Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in the food service industry or equivalent retail experience
- Current food handler certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to understand and carry out oral or written instructions in English
- Strong guest focus with excellent people skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
- High school diploma, attending school, or commensurable experience preferred
- Experience with computers, smartphones, and point-of-sale systems preferred
- General knowledge of food industry or retail operations is desirable
- Background in nutrition is an asset
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve Jamba specialty smoothies, acai bowls, and other menu items
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service with a positive attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
- Follow all health and safety protocols and food handling certification requirements
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals
- Participate in branded training programs for continuous learning and development
