Job Requirements
- Must be able to work 30-40 hours per week
- Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business dictates
- Must have the physical stamina to perform job duties including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must pass sandwich tests after the initial two weeks and periodic testing thereafter
- Must maintain professional appearance as per dress code
- Must provide genuine customer service
- Must be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- Must adhere to all company systems, procedures, and portion controls
Job Qualifications
- Ability to use basic math including addition, subtraction, and understanding basic fractions
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies
- Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, holidays, and weekends
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace
Job Duties
- Execute genuine greetings and farewells, take orders, operate the cash register, collect payments from customers, and other cash handling duties
- Make fast, accurate, and consistent sandwiches
- Comply with all portion sizes, recipes, systems, and procedures
- Pass sandwich tests at the end of the first two weeks of employment and at future testing times
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station, and restrooms
- Take telephone orders and complete delivery tickets
- Fill out systems and procedures with 100 percent accuracy and integrity
- Always maintain a professional appearance in compliance with the dress code
- Display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
- Perform other related duties as required
