This job opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee of Del Taco, a fast-food restaurant chain known for its Mexican-inspired menu. The independent franchisee manages this particular location and is solely responsible for all employment-related decisions including hiring, firing, wages, staffing, and scheduling. This means if you are hired, your employer will be the franchisee and not the parent company, Del Taco LLC. This position emphasizes the importance of excellent guest service and maintaining a clean, safe environment. You will be trained to fully understand the menu offerings so that you can confidently explain items to customers, enhancing their dining experience. Utilizing the Point of Sale (POS) system, you will efficiently take orders, process payments, and provide accurate receipts, supporting a smooth transaction process.

In addition to frontline guest interaction, this role requires compliance with food safety, handling, and sanitation protocols to uphold health regulations. An energetic and cheerful demeanor is essential as you will be interacting with guests frequently, representing the restaurant at every touchpoint. Maintaining professional grooming standards and contributing to cleanliness by assisting with restaurant maintenance will be part of your daily responsibilities.
