Job Duties
- Works at any station to prepare and serve quality fast-service foods
- transports boxes of patties and buns to broiler
- places sandwich patty and bun on conveyor and removes finished items to PHU
- listens to orders to determine sandwich types
- applies condiments and assembles sandwiches
- wraps and marks finished sandwiches
- checks and maintains cooking oil
- prepares fryer baskets and cooks food items
- transports food from storage to work stations
- toasts buns and prepares specialty sandwiches
- heats dessert pies and sandwiches
- serves shakes and assembles customer orders
- monitors holding time of prepared foods and discards expired items
- maintains order and cleanliness of kitchen
- washes and sanitizes kitchen equipment
- dismantles and cleans cooking equipment at closing
- cleans hoods and ventilators
- filters and disposes of fryer oil
- scrubs and hoses kitchen floors
