Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years previous hospitality/kitchen experience
  • ability to learn in all aspects of operation
  • ability to showcase Smiling Hospitality and inspire other team members to do the same
  • ability to challenge yourself, ask questions, work hard, and grow
  • must be self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • ability to be regularly present for scheduled shifts
  • ability to regularly lift 50lbs, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods of time
  • ability to occasionally work in hot or cold environments for extended periods of time
  • must be 18 years or older (NC ABC laws for serving beer and wine)

  • master our cooking methods and build standards for all menu items
  • maintain highest quality standards in food production
  • maintain highest standards of food safety
  • aid managers in inventory management, unloading, and stocking
  • practice Smiling Hospitality and inspire your fellow team members do the same
  • challenge yourself, reach for more responsibility, and ask questions
  • participate in on-going training and cross-train in other positions
  • maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant
