Job Description

Eastcut Sandwich Bar is a vibrant and innovative scratch kitchen located in a welcoming community focused on delivering quality and consistency in every aspect of our food and service. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Team Members with a Culinary Focus to join our dynamic team. This role is central to our daily operations and involves hands-on participation in food receiving, preparation, cooking, plating, washing, and cleaning activities. Ideal candidates will have at least some kitchen or line experience and are eager to expand their culinary skills through additional training. At Eastcut, each day is an opportunity to innovate and explore creativity through a menu that features rotating specials. Team Members work closely with managers to uphold the highest quality and safety standards in food production while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This position offers competitive wages between $15 and $20 per hour, inclusive of tips, with a flexible schedule and paid time off available to all employees, both full- and part-time. Full-time employees are eligible for a Qualified Healthcare Reimbursement Program, and all team members receive benefits such as paid parental leave and an employee dining program that allows $15 per day toward meals whether or not working.

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years hospitality/food service experience
  • ability to learn in all aspects of operation
  • ability to showcase smiling hospitality and inspire other Team Members to do the same
  • ability to challenge yourself, ask questions, work hard, and grow
  • self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • able to be regularly present for scheduled shifts
  • able to lift 50lbs, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods
  • able to work in hot or cold environments occasionally
  • age 18 or older according to NC ABC laws for serving beer and wine
