Job Description
Fearless is a forward-thinking digital integration consultancy dedicated to creating innovative technological solutions that address meaningful challenges. With a focus on the intersection of technology, people, and organizational development, Fearless serves clients primarily in the GovTech and civic tech space, striving to improve tech usability and accessibility for all users. The company fosters a unique culture known as the "Purple Culture," where every team member is valued as a whole person, not just by their job title. Employees at Fearless enjoy autonomy, support from coaches rather than micromanagement, and a community that celebrates diversity, equity, curiosity, and innovation. Fearless emphasizes flexibility, growth, and work-life balance, with a commitment to equal opportunity employment and fair, transparent compensation across all demographics.
The Team Member Experience Coordinator at Fearless is a pivotal temporary, hourly, non-exempt position based in Baltimore, Maryland, with some travel up to 10 percent expected. This role is central to building a vibrant internal culture and community among team members while also strengthening the external brand presence within the local and broader GovTech communities. Unlike a traditional event planner, this position is focused on connection, community building, and driving engagement through meaningful interactions and programs. The coordinator will interface with both onsite and remote employees to ensure everyone feels seen, valued, and connected through thoughtful recognition of milestones and personal events, carefully curated communal experiences, and sustained relationships both inside and outside the company.
The role involves managing and growing speaker series and tech meetups, representing Fearless at industry events, organizing asynchronous and synchronous tech communities, and fostering enduring relationships within Baltimore's tech ecosystem. Internally, the coordinator is responsible for designing a year-round calendar of events, facilitating onboarding and offboarding processes with care and intention, and managing daily operational support for the Baltimore office. Operational tasks include ensuring smooth office logistics, coordinating IT needs with the tech team, maintaining inventory, and enhancing workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in roles centered around team member experience, people operations, or office management with a strong focus on community building. They bring capabilities in event management, communication, project management, and a genuine curiosity or experience in civic or GovTech sectors. The position demands strong organizational prowess, emotional intelligence, and the ability to foster inclusivity for both remote and onsite teams.
Though temporary and without benefits, this role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25.19 to $30.00. It is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about culture, connection, and technology to shape impactful experiences and contribute to a mission-driven organization that values each individual’s unique story and contribution.
