The TDR Cook position at Graton Resort & Casino is a vital role responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals specifically for Team Members. Working in a fast-paced culinary environment, the TDR Cook ensures the production of meals that meet exacting standards of taste, presentation, and safety. This role requires close attention to standardized recipes, proper food handling, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen workspace. The TDR Cook contributes significantly to the well-being and satisfaction of Team Members by delivering consistent, timely, and appealing meals. More than simply preparing food, this role supports the overall hospitality goals of the resort by creating a warm and friendly dining experience for employees. Teamwork, organization, and strict adherence to company policies and sanitation standards are essential to success in this culinary position. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a cooking role within a busy foodservice or hospitality setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to read and understand recipes and instructions
  • Capability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen tasks

  • Operate kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, stove, wok, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, and flat top
  • Maintain high personal grooming and uniform standards
  • Treat team members with respect and promote teamwork within the department
  • Adapt to changing duties as required by management
