The role of a Team Member at Fresh Dining Concepts specifically focuses on supporting the operations of Jamba Juice outlets. Job Requirements

  • minimum 16 years old
  • ability to lift 50 plus pounds

Job Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of experience in the food service industry or equivalent retail experience
  • current food handler certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days
  • basic math and reading skills
  • ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions in English
  • strong guest focus with excellent people skills
  • availability to work shifts
  • ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
  • compliance with health and sanitation laws
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience with computers, smartphones, iPads, retail handhelds, and POS systems preferred
  • general knowledge of food industry or retail operations preferred
  • background in nutrition highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Deliver the ultimate customer service experience and impressions of the Jamba brand
  • responsible for customer product and service standards
  • follow all company operations policies and procedures
  • deliver an exceptional customer in store experience by embodying the brand core values
  • execute quality store operations including cleaning blenders and small wares
  • operate food preparation machinery
  • stocking of all supplies
  • respond to directions in an accurate and timely manner
  • adhere to Jamba food, safety and security guidelines
  • master station operations of the store
  • complete Jamba store and company policy trainings
  • consistently make and serve all Jamba products to specifications
  • follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • execute proper portion control with all ingredients
  • suggest and upsell to increase profitability and check average
  • operate cash register and handle cash transactions
  • operate point-of-sale system efficiently
  • serve and provide samples to potential guests
  • set up equipment, utensils, and supplies for opening
  • break down, clean, and put away equipment, utensils, and supplies at closing
  • perform cleaning and maintenance procedures
  • comply with uniform policy and company hygiene and appearance standards
  • maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • comply with Fresh Dining Concepts, LLC policies and procedures including federal and state regulations
