This position involves performing all functions related to food preparation, customer service, sanitation, and product stocking within the Prepared Foods venues of Whole Foods Market. Team Members in this role are expected to maintain the highest standards of product quality, safety, and presentation, ensuring that all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, and rotated. Responsibilities also include documenting waste and spoilage, following precise recipes using correct measuring devices, and helping customers understand the differences between Whole Foods Market products and those found in conventional grocery stores. The role demands adherence to company policies, participation in training and meetings, and a commitment to promoting Whole Foods Market’s core values, health and safety regulations, and quality goals. Team Members are expected to deliver excellent customer service at all times, engage in suggestive selling techniques, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for customers and an efficient work environment for fellow Team Members.
