The role of the Team Member at Caribou Coffee is vital to delivering on this brand promise. As a Team Member, you will be at the heart of the Caribou experience, responsible for delivering unparalleled guest service and crafting world-class hand-made beverages that meet Caribou's high standards. This is a full or part-time hourly position with pay ranging from $11.23 to $18.71 per hour, subject to local and state minimum wage regulations. The role offers an opportunity to engage with a diverse community of guests, building ongoing personal relationships and providing exceptional hospitality. You will play an active part in maintaining the store's cleanliness and organization, handling cash transactions responsibly, and seamlessly switching between barista duties and guest services to ensure smooth operations.

This position requires a commitment to physical demands that involve standing, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and intermittent movement over 4 to 8 hours. It demands a proactive and flexible mindset, where you are encouraged to anticipate guests' needs, take initiative, and know when to seek support from leadership.   • Provide incredible guest service by developing personal ongoing relationships with guests

  • hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
  • heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings to Caribou standard operating procedures
  • float between barista and guest service roles and willingly fulfill all team member roles and responsibilities
  • take guest orders and manage cash drawer following all cash handling policies and procedures
  • maintain the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards
  • actively think and act upon what the team and guest will need in the future
  • differentiate between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
  • understand the team is managing multiple priorities and willingly take direction from leaders
