As a Retail Team Member at ABC, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable guest experience by delivering exceptional service and helping the store achieve its sales goals. This position involves greeting each guest warmly, operating the Point-of-Sale system with accuracy, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements such as age verification for alcohol and tobacco purchases. Team Members at ABC are knowledgeable about the extensive selection of wines, spirits, beers, and cigars, including special Sourced & Certified products, and contribute to promoting these offerings.

Responsibilities include assisting with merchandising, restocking shelves and coolers, managing inventory by receiving and validating deliveries, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Additionally, team members support property upkeep, assist customers with gift wrapping and custom gift basket assembly, and provide carryout services as needed. This role requires staying current on company policies, product knowledge, and completing all necessary training to ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience.

Applicants should be at least 21 years old and flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business demand. While prior retail experience is not mandatory, customer-facing experience is an advantage. The position demands strong physical capabilities including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move products up to 40 lbs, and perform occasional overhead lifting and use of ladders or step stools.

The work environment involves exposure to moderate noise levels, refrigerated temperatures during stocking, and occasional contact with cleaning solutions.
