The role of a Skyline Chili Team Member is multifaceted, with primary positions including Server, Drive-Thru Associate, and Production Team Member. Each position plays a crucial role in ensuring customers enjoy a memorable dining experience that reflects the high quality and tradition Skyline is known for. Servers manage the dining room or counter service, engage with guests to take and communicate food orders, deliver meals and beverages promptly, and ensure the dining area remains inviting and well-maintained. Drive-Thru Associates provide fast and accurate service to guests ordering via the drive-thru, handling transactions, preparing and delivering beverages and food, and meeting the restaurant's standards for quick and accurate order fulfillment.

Production Team Members work behind the scenes to prepare menu items efficiently and consistently, following standardized recipes to maintain quality and reduce waste. They coordinate closely with Servers and Drive-Thru staff to expedite orders and keep the kitchen running smoothly. Skyline values cross-training team members across these roles to foster a versatile workforce capable of adapting to shifting demands and supporting each other effectively.

Working at Skyline Chili demands physical stamina, as employees must be prepared for long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift. Attention to safety protocols and hygiene is essential, with frequent hand washing and adherence to health regulations a must. The role also requires proficiency in basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills, alongside a professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
