With a commitment to putting people first, the company embraces diversity and seeks individuals from all backgrounds who embody kindness, sociability, and a strong work ethic. Chuze Fitness is more than just a fitness center—it is a place where community is built, goals are achieved, and every member feels valued and motivated.
The role available at Chuze Fitness is centered around delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring every member and guest has an unforgettable experience. This position offers a pay range of $18.00 to $19.37 per hour and involves various responsibilities that combine hospitality, operational tasks, and member engagement. As a team member, you will greet and interact with members and guests, provide valuable information about memberships, guide potential members through tours, and handle sign-ups with efficiency and enthusiasm. Your role will also encompass maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the gym to ensure the facility always reflects the high standards of Chuze Fitness.
In addition to front desk duties, you will be responsible for managing phone calls, processing point-of-sale transactions, addressing member concerns, and assisting with billing issues or disputes by escalating them to leadership when necessary. The position requires regular engagement with training materials through the Learning Management System (LMS) to stay updated on programs, memberships, and gym amenities. Depending on the location, you may also be tasked with preparing and serving smoothies that meet customer specifications while maintaining quality standards.
This position is suitable for individuals who enjoy working in a team-based environment and are passionate about hospitality and fitness. It requires excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods, walk and climb stairs during gym tours, as well as bend, kneel, and perform repetitive arm movements. The role also demands the capacity to lift at least 50 pounds and operate computer systems proficiently.
Chuze Fitness provides a supportive workplace that encourages growth and learning. This is reflected in the comprehensive perks and benefits offered to employees, such as free CPR, First Aid, and AED training, free food handler training for locations with smoothie bars, and a complimentary Chuze Fitness membership. Additional benefits include 401k retirement plans, discounts on retail and smoothie purchases, as well as training and growth opportunities. Full-time employees are eligible for further perks and benefits, emphasizing the company's commitment to employee well-being and development.
At Chuze Fitness, the focus is not only on physical health but also on fostering a positive community where kindness and compassion are integral. This role is an excellent opportunity for those who are ready to contribute to a vibrant team and help shape exceptional fitness experiences for members and guests alike. Join Chuze Fitness and be part of a company that values you, supports your career, and promotes a culture of goodwill and health.
