In this role, Team Members are responsible for creating day-making experiences by actively listening to guests, building personal connections, and anticipating their needs through hospitality and product knowledge. The role includes handcrafting beverages and preparing food items following Caribou’s standard operating procedures, ensuring every order meets the brand’s high-quality standards. Additionally, Team Members manage cash handling duties and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting store atmosphere.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work at least one of the following shifts: early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and/or weekends
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds during working hours
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to accept direction from leadership and manage multiple priorities
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and/or weekends
- Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and positive attitude
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to teamwork and company values
Job Duties
- Provide incredible guest service by developing personal ongoing relationships with guests
- Practice active listening and connection
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively solve guest opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality
- Make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests
- Create day making experiences that spark a chain reaction of good
- Hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
- Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings to Caribou standard operating procedures
- Float between barista and guest service and willingly fulfill all team member roles and responsibilities
- Take guest orders and manage cash drawer following all cash handling policies and procedures
- Maintain the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards
- Actively think and act upon what the team and guest will need in the future
- Differentiate between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
