The position of Team Member at Caribou Coffee is central to delivering the Caribou experience. As a Team Member, you will be the face of the brand, responsible for creating memorable day-making experiences through outstanding guest service and expertly crafted beverages. This role involves engaging with guests to build personal connections, actively listening to their needs, and anticipating opportunities to enhance their experience. Team Members are expected to master Caribou's standard operating procedures for making beverages and preparing food offerings, ensuring consistency and quality with every order. Flexibility is key in this role, as Team Members float between barista duties and guest service, embracing all responsibilities with enthusiasm and teamwork.
In addition to operational duties, a Caribou Coffee Team Member brings the company’s core values to life daily by supporting one another, making fun happen, being authentic, taking ownership, and serving with love. This role demands resilience, a learner’s mentality, and a passion for positively impacting both the team and the guests. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and able to work shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, holidays, or weekends. Prior experience in restaurant, retail, or guest service environments is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Physically, the role involves seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for extended periods, bending, and intermittent movement throughout the shift. Job Duties

- takes guest orders and manages cash drawer and follows all cash handling policies and procedures
- maintains the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization and organization standards
- actively thinks and acts upon what the team and guest will need in the future
