The role available at Chuze Fitness is an engaging and multifaceted position centered around delivering exceptional member experiences. The employment type is hourly, with a pay range of $14.25 to $15.34 per hour, commensurate with experience. As a team member, you will serve as the face of the gym, handling warm greetings, supporting new members through sign-ups and tours, and expertly managing phone etiquette. In addition to guest interactions, a significant part of the role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the gym to ensure a welcoming environment for all who visit. The job is highly interactive and requires excellent communication, multitasking skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. You will also be expected to assist with billing issues, conduct point-of-sale transactions, and stay current with training through the company’s Learning Management System. Furthermore, if applicable, you may have the opportunity to prepare and serve smoothies, adding another layer of member service. Job Requirements
- Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
- touring the gym: walking and climbing stairs
- bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement
- standing for long periods
- computer operations
- ability to lift at least 50lbs
- CPR, First Aid, AED training, and food handler certification (if applicable)
- strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
- team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in person and over the phone

Job Duties
- Welcome, greet, and interact with all members, prospective members, and guests
- provide membership information and facilitate tours
- complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
- membership sign-ups, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and addressing member concerns
- assist with billing issues and disputes and escalate to leadership when needed
- regularly review and complete all training materials and updates in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- maintain knowledge and assist members with all amenities, membership offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions
- make and serve smoothies, if applicable, ensuring they meet customer specifications and maintaining quality standards
- attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings
