The Team Member position at Fresh Dining Concepts plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient preparation and presentation of Auntie Anne's and/or Cinnabon products. As a Team Member, you will engage directly with customers, preparing delicious products such as pretzels, Cinnabons, lemonades, and yogurt, while maintaining strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and operational standards. This role demands both food preparation expertise and outstanding customer service skills, as it involves greeting guests, taking orders, operating point-of-sale systems, and upselling products to enhance profitability. Attention to detail is crucial in executing cooking procedures such as rolling, twisting, dipping, baking, and bagging products to maintain consistent quality and presentation.

The role also requires meticulous maintenance of the store environment and equipment by performing thorough cleaning and setup tasks during opening and closing shifts. Compliance with company policies and regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and health and sanitation laws, is mandatory, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for employees and guests alike. Job Requirements

  • food handler certification or ability to obtain
  • availability to work flexible shifts
  • physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, squat, bend, and perform repetitive hand motions

  • minimum age 16 to operate oven and 18 to operate mixer
  • compliance with company hygiene and uniform standards

Job Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of experience in the food service industry or equivalent retail experience
  • current food handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • basic math and reading skills
  • ability to understand and follow oral or written instructions in English
  • strong guest focus and excellent people skills
  • availability to work various shifts
  • ability to develop effective working relationships with co-workers
  • knowledge of health and sanitation laws
  • experience with computer, smartphones, tablets, and POS systems preferred
  • general knowledge of food industry or retail operations preferred

Job Duties

  • prepare dough and other products such as lemonade, butter, dips, Cinnabons, and yogurt
  • roll, twist, dip, shape, bake, and bag pretzels, Cinnabons, and yogurt
  • prepare specialty pretzels or other brand products for Cinnabon
  • insert, rotate, and remove pretzel and Cinnabon trays while monitoring ovens for proper baking time and product color
  • dip, drain, and fill pretzels and Cinnabons in the warmer or hot plate
  • prepare drinks and bag orders following health and safety guidelines
  • greet, host, and serve guests with courtesy and a smile
  • take customer orders and suggest upselling to increase profitability
  • operate point-of-sale system efficiently and accurately handle transactions
  • provide samples to potential guests
  • set up equipment, utensils, and supplies for store opening
  • break down, clean, and put away equipment at closing
  • perform cleaning and maintenance as directed
  • comply with uniform and hygiene standards
  • maintain punctuality and good attendance
  • adhere to company policies and relevant safety and environmental regulations
